Smashin’ Bakes is a small independent bakery on Paisley Road in Barrhead. Our Smashin’ Baker, Alanah Collier, bakes everything in the shop through the week, then opens the doors on Friday & Saturday to share it all with you over cake and coffee.

Meet the Smashin’ Baker
Behind the pink sign is Alanah, who bakes every single thing herself, in small batches, from good ingredients and a lot of love. Then on Friday and Saturday she opens the doors and shares it all with you: cakes, brownies, blondies, stuffed cookies and empire biscuits, plus seasonal specials.
Her Old School Cake is the one people queue for. Take a bite and you’ll see why it’s become the house classic.

Our little corner
Rooted in Barrhead
Barrhead is where we live, where we bake, and where our best customers are. So we love giving something back: cake for school fundraisers, a table at local events, and the odd giveaway for businesses doing good work nearby.
